While a graduate assistant in college, Dale tutored foreign students, and with graduate work in Physiology, Chemistry, Industrial Psychology and Economics, he pursued a career in the international branch of the pharmaceutical industry. During his career he worked for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis as well as the Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo, MI. Marketing Research and Strategic Planning were specific areas of interest and he also taught evening classes in both subjects at Western Michigan University.
